Each Year

Christmas is coming! Every Year my Grandma Kelley sends each of her children and her grandchildren a special ornament (Its a tradition or something). This year she sent me this one.

(best I could get of it)

It's a snow globe that is an inch and a half tall! Its the smallest snow globe I've ever seen, also notice the little name at the bottom? It says "Ken", ain't that sweet? Well I thought it was. If my Grandma reads this, THANK YOU!

My Little Secret

Hello all, I just turned fifteen October 16th. I didn't really have a birthday party and my present is so big it has to be combined with Christmas and my birthday, so I have to wait till Christmas (Arrg!, of course its not that far off). My secret is now that I'm fifteen I CAN DRIVE! Pretty scary. So be watching the roads because there might be a crazy guy swerving everywhere like me. I have to have a person in the car that has had their license for five years, so I'm not completely unsupervised. Just thought I'd let you know.

The Trip To Silverwood!

Our trip to Silverwood was very enjoyable! We had a blast hanging at Farragut Campgrounds and seeing Pend Orielle Lake. We also went kayaking in Pend Orielle Lake and we tipped our kayaks over (not what you're supposed to do). When we got in Silverwood we instantly went to Tremors. It's a tradition in our family that for the last four years we've ridden on Tremors first! I also can officially say that I have survived "The Aftershock!" Here are some pictures of it.
The picture on the top right is one of the entire roller coaster. Its total speed is 65.24 mph and is 1 minute and 32 seconds long. Its max G force is 4.5!
That is a lot of G force. The picture on the right is a vertical view of the highest point of the ride. Its height is 192 ft and the length of the track is 1204 ft! Thats amazing, and whats even better is I survived it. The rest of the trip went great. We had a lot of fun and I recommend taking a trip with a family or friends or taking a school field trip. We went with our Grandparents and it was a blast.

Isn't It Beautiful

Wow, I have the best Mom in the world(at least to me). She got me this laptop for school and it rocks. I have an online class that I have been doing on it. The laptop is called a HP Pavilion dv9000, and I'm not going to mention anything about the price. It has a built in web cam and 4GB of RAM(random access memory), which is really good and means it is fast. I like playing my stronghold games on it, because they play really fast. I also have a good stereo system at my house, and I hooked it up together and it is awesome. Anyway I just wanted to show it off, and by the way I am going to Silverwood soon and I am going to post about it so stay in tune.

High School Basketball

Hello all, Its me again.

I am going in to the 9th grade this fall and that means high school basketball. So this summer Coach Stark took us to Spokane for a tournament. We had 5 games and we were against varsity level guys from bigger schools. It turned out that we lost every game. But I can't complain too much because our team hadn't played together, we only had six team members, we had no clue what some of the plays were, and we had just come back to basketball after 1 or half a year of not playing! The only time we had to practice was 20 minutes (or less) before each game.

The thing I am proud of was how we kept playing when we got behind, and kept a good attitude. I think lots of teams. That is what I have done so far during this summer.

Fathers Day

Hello all, I know its been a while since I've posted, but I just have to post on fathers day. I just want to let Dad know how much I love him. He has been a great influence on me. He helps me stay on the right path when I go wrong. He teaches me the ways of Jesus, and to follow Him. He wares the corniest shirts, sing the dorkiest songs and is yet still fun to be around.

The Story of my Auto Harp

When my family lived in Tonasket, we went to a Christian school that was at our church. There were 5 teachers in the 2 years we had the school. One of the teachers in the school was Mrs. Ramos. She was a lower grade all-subject teacher and a drama teacher. My mom would go to her house often with my sister, my brother, and I. One day she called us to come over. My mom went in first, then me. When I got in Mrs. Ramos was crying and told me that I was a Levite leader and that I am supposed to worship God with the harp. She had been praying and God had told her to give me her Auto Harp. The Auto Harp had been her great grandma's and it had been in the family for generations. It was so important to her that she stored it in her room under her bed and had kept it with her through all the houses she'd lived in. She reason didn't know that she was confirming the calling that God had given me at the family camp the year before, since she wasn't at family camp. I keep it under my bed now, to protect it. I like playing it, but it is hard to play it in worship and I need lessons to get really good at it. I am really thankful to Mrs. Ramos for listening to God and giving me her Auto Harp.

How I got my calling

Here's a little post about how I was called to be a worshiper by God. It started at Family Camp in Tonasket. We went there with our church during the 4th of July. We all stayed in cabins that were pre-made for people to sleep in and some of us were in tents, it was petty much vacation. There was a huge chapel that we all went to every day and and there was a big area for breakfast, dinner and lunch. Then the 3rd or 4th day in to it, we went to church at the evening like we always did there and the pastor asked for an altar call for anyone that wanted to, and there was a bunch of people that went up and I didn't really know why so I did too. I knelt and just sat there like a lot of other people and there were other leaders that went around and prayed with everyone. The leader that came to me was a worship leader and his name was Trevor Seaman. He sat down and prayed over me and said that I was going to be like David a great worshiper and instrument player. David was a man from the Bible and was a guy after God's own heart, and to me that is pretty cool. Then my mom came over and Trevor told my mom, (when your mom knows, you are held accountable for it) and my mom was very excited. So then at the end of camp there were fireworks going off for the 4th of July, and it has stuck with me all this time.
